Adobe Rancho Santa Fe
This guest house was designed to feel like anything but. At just 1,100 square feet, it includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and all the amenities of the main house—high-end appliances, king-sized beds, custom linen window treatments, and even a wine fridge.
We were brought on just seven months before the homeowners planned to host their daughter’s high school graduation here, with a hard deadline that left no room for delays. At that point, framing had barely started.
The goal was to make the space feel like a true extension of the main home, not a secondary structure. Thoughtful layouts, big windows, and soaring ceilings help it feel spacious and inviting. It may be a guest house, but it brings big house energy in every way.
