La Costa Global

This home belongs to a young couple (with the cutest two-year-old) who travel constantly and find inspiration everywhere they go. She’s especially drawn to Tulum and Morocco, so the goal was to create a space that felt like a marriage of those places—earthy, neutral, layered, and lived-in.

The biggest challenge was reworking several disconnected spaces into one grand, multifunctional lounge where they could entertain and host during the holidays. Instead of traditional sectionals, we designed a built-in plaster sofa inspired by Moroccan Tadelakt designs—wide enough to double as a daybed. We also created a custom media console that secretly holds toys, games, and blankets, making it as functional as it is beautiful.

The space is entirely limewashed to give it depth and softness, and one of the sweetest details is a custom fiber art piece our client commissioned—it was her first time working with an artist in that way, which made it feel extra personal.

We rounded out the space with a Rowe sofa, a pair of Six Penny chairs, and an updated staircase—but really, it’s the relaxed, worldly energy that makes this home feel so special.
